We have just enjoyed a delicious roast dinner here at the Hayburn Wyke Inn, the beef was so tender it literally melted in your mouth ?. This is the perfect place to enjoy a good hearty meal after a long walk as we did. Not expensive and a good choice on the menu. Don't expect a fancy modern pub but enjoy the old photos and history of this place along with the old pub dog who likes to just sit on her chair nearby. Stopped for lunch on a circular walk. Lovely food, good value for money. Excellent refreshments on a lovely walk. Well worth a stop ?Walkability: Lovely walk to the coast down the disused railway track.

Great old fashioned pub, log fires good beer friendly hosts. Lots of dogs and walkers. Fantastic food an excellent steak pie and enormous burger proper chips and gravy to die for. We stopped overnight in our motorhome, free of charge if you use the pub. Just go it's great ?
