The atmosphere didn't do the magic for me. Looks like an old people's inn/beer parlour. The atmosphere aside, the service was okay and I had one of the best hot chocolates there.

Called in today for Sunday lunch and was met by a very polite , welcoming young man. He showed us to a table and a few minutes later a waitress took our order. She too was extremely polite and friendly. We ordered a Chicken and Stuffing Sunday Roast and the Homemade Meat Pie. The meals were absolutely delicious, hot and plentiful. If we're in Scarborough again on holiday we shall definitely return!Parking: Lucky to find a free spot along the seafront itself but if you drive past the little funfair and across the roundabout there's loads of spaces. Think it's Pay and Display.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. We popped in for a lunchtime snack and had a panini each. Food was perfect, chips were like old chippy chips and the portion size and side salad with the panini was ideal. Definately recommend and will come here again when we’re in the area.

The food is good, the prices are fair, the problem lies with the service. It is table service so as soon as you have ordered the come over to get payment (which is fair enough). After that they bring the food and then busy themselves only looking up if another customer enters the building. Trying to get their attention can be hard to do.
