Ordered the giant doner kebab in a bun and was not disappointed. Tiger bread and a kebab is my idea of heaven. Great food and delivery. Would definitely recommend. Keep up the good work!

Me and my partner came in for lunch to find that the menu we'd grown to love had been changed so we were a bit worried. But we shouldn't have been, the food is still absolutely incredible.The portion sizes are incredibly generous (the giant kebab really IS a GIANT kebab!).The atmosphere is excellent and the guy who served us made us feel so welcome and was exceptionally friendly.Five stars. I'd go in everyday if I could.

We had loaded fries and dumplings, placed the order over the phone and picked it up.The food was gorgeous and plenty of it.We will definitley be calling again or book a table and enjoy some cocktails.

We visited Bistro 81 while staying in Selby for a week. Not knowing the area we were unsure where to eat out. We spotted this small Bistro which looked warm and welcoming on a cold dark night. We were so glad we decided to call in. The greeting was warm and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly and took great delight in explaining the menu. What we did not realise was that it was a mainly Polish menu although there is also a good choice of English dishes especially a full breakfast. With the help of the staff we ordered drinks and my husband ordered a beer while I had a very good glass of Merlot. My husband ordered a pork chop with mashed potatoes which he thoroughly enjoyed. The pork was tender and delicious and the homemade mash was smooth and creamy. I settled on the potato cake with Hungarian goulash which was large and very tasty. The whole experience was great. The location of the Bistro is a little out of the centre of town next to the level crossing so maybe not so noticeable but do try it, I'm sure you would be extremely happy that you did. I noticed that they also do takeaway and snacks. We will certainly be back.

Lovely authentic Polish meal. Delicious comfort food. Try something new and get the dumplings and golbaki. Good vegan and vegetarian options too.

I haven't eaten such a good Hungarian pancake for a long time.Normally "heaven in your mouth". And this huge portion on the plate!Plus coffee and cake... I recommend it!Very nice service. The order was completed quickly.In one word: Perfect!I will come back there for sure.
