Service was rubbish -food was OK-not enough staff either in the kitchen or out serving ! Food temp had gone down by the time ours came -and it wasn't over busy .

Mixed grill said 4oz steak, half chicken breast and half gammon, it was all cooked well and very tasty but it was not half a chicken breast, not even a quarter and it wasn't half a gammon either, apart from the size of the meats it was a tasty mixed grill but the menu was misleading, service was very slow and it was not even busy (saturday tea time) infact it was very quiet so no idea why it took so long , we would return thoughParking: You now have to fill out a form to say if you are staying at the premier inn or just using the pub so they know wether to charge you for parking ?

Friendly staff very helpful they work very hard to provide a great service to the public. Food was lovely and plenty of great drinks to choose from. Very organised and welcoming restaurant. 100% recommend enjoy. ????Parking: Make sure to put your registration number into the laptops placed inside. Free parking plenty of spaces.

The food was brilliant. Delicious and well presented. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Kid-friendliness: We ate outside, the kids played in the little play area and we had the outdoor heat lamps around the tables for when we were eating.

First visit since the rebranding from Brewers Fayre. Staff friendly. Food basic, but hot and tasty. Service slow. Toilets poorly maintained. No locks on cubicle doors. Lukewarm water for hand washing and even colder air for drying.Dietary restrictions: Allergies and other requests catered for.Parking: It's car park. Plenty of space. Enjoy the freedom.

Friendly welcoming staff, Food was nice, hot and served quickly. Prices are on the high side for the portion size if paying the full menu price. They offer Blue Light Discount and the location is great right on the A65 with plenty of parking.

Very busy, staff were very polite and helpful, highly recommend them for a meal any time of the day, we used them for breakfast , lunch and dinner over the three days we were there.

I was unsure what to expect from here given the overall score it got. We were presently surprised by the lovely experience we had. The service was great with a very friendly waitress and quick service. There was a great choice on the menu with something for everyone, especially vegetarians. The food overall was delicious, I had the vegetarian lasagne, which was really tasty, just a little bit overdone. My Jam rollypolly could have done with a little less time in the oven, too.

Ordered the chicken tikka curry as it had been highly recommended however when it arrived it was tepid and the rice was watery. The service was good and the staff friendly and after complaining we were only charged foe 1

I use to love coming here to eat. Staff were always friendly and prompt. However I feel this not the case lately. Staff don't seem to be interested. Always look moody and reluctant to smile. Doesn't seem to be enough Staff when busy. And nobody was paying much attention to what tables were waiting to order. I'm not surprised people didn't get up and walk out.I want to keep eating here as the food is usually good standard, but I feel hesitation as its the Staff and the service that let the side down.

We returned to the Anchor as it's a regular stop-off after a day in the Dales. Unfortunately, on this particular day, they were very short-staffed in the kitchen. This meant they were offering a reduced menu and, in an effort to control numbers, turning away walk-ins. Luckily, we had a reservation. That said, what we ordered from the temporary menu was very good and good value for money. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Easy done when you're the only diners, I guess ?

Poor service obviously no communication between management and staff as different tables were given different information regarding offers on the bank holiday Monday. Long time waiting for food with very few customers in. Food portion size was small please don't expect to leave feeling like you've had a filling meal. Dried up chips barely luke warm and peas barely defrosted. I would not recommend for anyone unless they have absolutely nowhere else to go.Parking: Loads of parking which may appear quite busy but this is hotel guests next door the pub and restaurant are quite rightly dead

A pretty basic pub. Was running a reduced menu due to being short staffed. This was understandable.Food was just food. Noting amazing and out of the ordinary. But noting terrible also.

Me and my family dined here yesterday. My drinks order was wrong, even though I pointed out which wine I'd like to order. Ordered white...recieved red. My daughter ordered a burger, but recieved a smothered chicken dish...20 mins went by before they came out with the right order. My burger bun was rock hard and inedible. My 4 year old had to wait 25+ mins for a small serving of ice cream. Would not recommend and won't be going back.
