We had a lovely Sunday lunch with the family today (party of 8)The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. I was able to enjoy a Gluten Free Sunday Roast dinner without any worries. It’s sometimes difficult to find a diner that caters well for Coeliacs. We have dined at The White Horse several times and when thinking of a local and cosy venue we immediately thought of here. From booking to the actual evening everything went to plan. Steve and Amanda couldn’t do enough to make the occasion perfect. Hannah and her team on the day were simply fantastic and had the event room all set out beautifully. I called in by my lonesome on the Friday lunchtime between Christmas and New Year. The place was quiet whilst I was there.I started with the goats cheese with pesto on sourdough bread. It was a revelation, beautiful creamy mild cheese on beautiful bread with a pesto that wasn't too tangy and some lovely sticky and sweet balsamic drizzled over.I then went for the chicken, leek and ham pie.
