The bar man gave us some great pointers of places to visit. Including Aldborough Roman Site ( English Heritage open Fridays) and Kilburn a lovely village where the mouse man is famous for woodworking

We had an excellent time at The Crown on Sunday we were at a private party held in the garden at the rear on the Crown. The hosts were excellent and the food was equally excellent tooI personally recommend The Crown both for the food and the land and the food.
