We’d already booked a celebratory meal here for tonight as we’ve eaten here many times before, then realised there was a special offer on, which made our decision even better!! The booking system advised us via text message that our table was ready early, which was great, as we were happy to bring our plans forward. The restaurant was in full swing when we arrived and the ambience reflected its capacity! Our orders were taken quickly, and when our daughter’s cocktail was delivered late there were huge apologies and the price was taken off the bill! Food was sublime as always, service was impeccable (Jenna et al, brilliant!) and the whole experience was just fabulous. Special mention for the vegan pizza! It was superb! I don’t know which vegan cheese was used but it was the best we’ve had - ever!!! Thank you for another lovely evening. Absolutely 5 stars as always! ?????

Lasagne very bland no herbs did not resemble usual quality as have eaten here many times and what's happened to the salad? Where are the mussels? Signature popular dishes need to stay, this is what we come for. Appreciate chef is changing the menu as a chef myself we can get bored but do your creativity on the specials menu. Came away feeling food lacked seasoning and herbs. Such a shame as this is not a cheaper end restaurant. I did raise these comments to waiter no response given. No reduction on the bill offered either. We are coming back to try again, let's hope my message is taken on board, such a shame.

We was here last night and all I can say is beautiful. Staff are lovely, food amazing and the place is so welcoming. I will definitely be back on our next visit to whitby. Keep up the good work ?

We ate here last year for the first time and really enjoyed the food and the place. So we booked again. The restaurant did not disappoint, the staff are very friendly, the setting it self is lovely especially at Christmas. As for the food it was spot on, Infact I would have to say it’s up there with my favourite Italian. We will be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic place. Outside just looks boringly normal, but inside is great decor, clean and beautifully and imaginatively laid out. White balustraded eating areas upstairs, without being crowded. Busy but vibrant. Fast, polite and friendly service…everyone with time to say hello. Food excellent Italian fare. Crispy pizza with hot delicious topping. Great desserts.

Absolutely superb! Is this the best restaurant in Whitby? Amazing food and very helpful friendly service. On a cold Thursday winters night in December this was the only place busy I could see and there's obviously a good reason the food was superb.

Love this Italian been a few times when staying in Whitby. This time on a Thursday in November and it was still busy so recommend booking. Young staff but all friendly, bubbly and helpful. Lovely lay out and nice atmosphere. Not cheap but good value and a decent menu with plenty of choice and specials. Highly recommended for good food and an excellent Italian meal.

From the minute we walked in to the moment we left, we loved this place. It was comfortably warm on a very cold night. It is spacious, decor lovely and feels quite opulent. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. Now, you come to a restaurant to eat.......so, amazingly, 3 of the party had same starter and main! Garlic prawns to start then penne pollo gorganzola (one said it was the best pasta meal he'd ever eaten, all loved the full on flavour. I had figs and goats cheese to start, always a favourite of mine and this was really good, then I had a really tasty butternut squash risotto, too much so they did me a doggy bag for following day lunch! We will definitely be back!

Great pear pizza!!! Fried squid were a smash Ste over cooked, shrimp were awesome. Could eat the pizza daily! If I live there I’d eat there all the time. Great staff.
