We visited the Edge last night having booked a table for 4 and 2 dogs. The food was lovely, I had the steak which was cooked perfectly, the chips were really good and I was happy with my choice. Our friends had the burger which was nice but they felt disappointed with the presentation and fries, they would have preferred the chunky chips. What really let the restaurant down were the staff. We needed somewhere to eat on December 30th and The Edge were able to fit us in, a party of six. We hadn't eaten here before. We had a lovely evening, from the warm welcome to the delicious food, everything was just right for a lovely evening. One of our party had the steak and said it was the best he's ever had, praise indeed as he is nearly eighty and has eaten a lot of steak! Fabulous restaurant! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The menu was so varied with lots of choices. The food was superb! the best rice pudding I've ever tasted. Highly recommend this place.
