Pork and stuffing barms are really really tasty. Would be nice to have the option of sauce other than apple. Will definitely visit again when back in the area.

My husband was going to call in to buy a Pork and Stuffing Bap but as the shop is so small he had to wait outside . Whilst he was waiting we observed the man who was serving eating what appeared to be chips with his hands and when he left the food he was consuming to serve the customer in front of us he did so without washing his hands which a few seconds earlier had been in his mouth . We were really taken aback by this , so much so that my husband abandoned the idea of purchasing a Pork Bap , and he normally buys more than one on our Whitby visits and he used to really enjoy them , but it made us think does this person wash his hands at other times of the day when it’s needed ? It should be a normal thing to do to wash your hands before serving customers especially as you are handling food .So now when we visit Whitby we will be giving the Greedy Pig a miss I’m sorry to say .

Beautiful food but lacked any friendliness/interaction from the staff. The female was eating chips at the counter while the male did the service. Don't ever become complacent with a business. Your customers are your success, treat them with gratitude not ignorance. Food was beautiful though.

Excellent value. Beautiful roast pork in a lovely soft roll (or bap?) Often there’s a queue and it’s worth waiting. Very small shop, so no eating inside, but it’s good to have a stroll along the seafront, just beware of the seagulls!

Generous portions of pork and crackling. Opening times somewhat erratic. When the pork has gone the shop is closed until the next joint is ready.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Roast pork sandwiches in a Bothams bap. Superb, apple sauce and stuffing on demand. A welcome alternative to Fish and Chips. Find this place and let it change your life for the better.

What a find! Great pork sandwich! Was just on the verge of despair after so many fish and chip shops. Will definitely call here again. Highly recommended and fabulous value for money!!

We could not get the same quality and value for money locally. Let alone in a sea side attraction.I've only put 4 for service because we did queue gor 25 minutes.And 4 because the owner was literally doing everything, so it's not as fast as other big chains as everything is made fresh. But is better quality than say the Greg's or cooplands, not even close on quality and price.But it is worth the queue.

10/10 . I've been in Whitby for a few weeks working and couldn't find anything quick and decent for lunch until we found this place. Sambos are absolutely perfect. The pork is cooked to perfection, and we've stopped here for lunchevery day since. Lovely staff fantastic food.
