Would definitely go back, service was good and fast, food was nice and good size portions, something for everyone, my daughter enjoyed her kids chicken nuggets+chips, prices pretty much average for coastal sit in chippy.

Dined in and my partner had fish, chips & mushy peas while I had the vegan falafel burger and chips. We also had pot of tea for two. Delicious food, impressive decor, great service. Prime location. Would recommend highly. After leaving tip, noticed that an optional service of 5% had been included.

Can't comment on the food or atmosphere unfortunately as we made a booking on their website a month prior to visiting, only to be told over the phone the day before our booking that they aren't even open at that time!You might say I should have double checked the opening times but their website allowed me to make the booking and still does let you book outside of opening hours. I had assumed that if a time was available to book then the restaurant would be open. The person who called didn't seem apologetic or even surprised.We had a bad experience with Magpie and thought we'd try this place but we'll look elsewhere next time.

We stopped here for a spot of lunch whilst on a day out. The food and service are excellent. The price seemed a little high but due to the quality of the food it wasn't a big issue. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area and looking for good quality fish and chips, the menu is quite extensive if you are looking for something else.

Food & drinks: The Service Here Is Excellent And All The Staffs Are Friendly And Welcoming.I Had The Tails On Whitby Scampi And Chips With A Pot Of Yorkshire Tea.It Came To A Little Over £20 But The Exceptional Quality Was Well Worth The Price And The Setting Is The Vest On The Seafront With Views Of The Whitby Lifeboat Station Just Across The Harbour. 10/10 Boarderline 11⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
