Don't have a menu with prices on. Not buying anything without knowing the price first

What a delightful place hidden away from the main streets with great staff and lovely food. I had the ploughman's sandwich and that was very good

Really friendly coffee shop with a good range of coffees and teas. We had an excellent Americano and gorgeous Victoria Sponge (generous slice) Great choice of homemade cakes and scones. Everything spotless, nicely decorated. It’s quite a small space and was full when we visited on a Saturday. Will definitely come back here.

Came here with my walking group as part of our New Year's weekend away. This is a lovely little coffee shop for drinks after our coastal walk. I had an Americano coffee, which was lovely, along with really helpful staff. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning here again when we're next in Whitby.

Lovely little coffee shop, homemade cheese scones and chutney were delicious., friendly service and they prefer cash which gets my vote every time.... yay! :-)

A perfect little coffee shop. I had one of the best lattes ever and hubby had a perfect cup of tea. The homemade cakes looked delicious, but we'd just had breakfast. Next time we're in Whitby, we'll be having cake for breakfast! Friendly staff who were happy to recommend places to visit.

This was our second or third visit here… Today was absolutely beautiful although I have to say your portion sizes are very small. The scones in particular are tiny & only 1 slice of bread with a bowl of soup isn’t the best. Nonetheless what we did have was absolutely delicious (that tea loaf was amazing!!!) & we will be back. P.S Next time I will be ringing ahead to make sure you have your home made custard creams on.

The food was appalling and the woman there was very rude. Spend your money somewhere they deserve it.

Staff are very rude .apparently they own the benches to the rear . I would avoid this shabby tea

Excellent range of foods available with a wide range of fillings for paninis. Coffee was great too , all at a reasonable price. Friendly staff who were welcoming and attentive . Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely coffee shop. First turning on the right as you go over the swing bridge, opposite the Capt. Cook museum in Grape Lane. Lovely friendly and cosy atmosphere, with homemade cakes. The St. Clement's is the very best you will EVER have. Don't blame me if they have run out of it when you visit!

I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat which is why I've given 4 stars instead of 5, but we both had a pot of tea which was delicious. It's a tiny place with 5 tables but I could have sat there drinking tea for hours as it has such a lovely calm atmosphere and the staff were lovely and friendly. We will definitely visit again
