Wow is all I can say went in for a roast dinner best place we've visited for a Sunday dinner we will be returning all the food we saw being served looked lovely reasonably priced and good portions will be back again and luckily it wasn't too

I understand the motorbike ban was not down by the cafe it was network rail and the cafe had no say in this they where fight for ban to be lifted just as much as we were

Great cosy traditional cafe, I had a full english, couldnt finish it was so generous, I paid alot for food in some places wish Id discovered this place sooner as they do everything even roast dinners and my fave sheperds pie all at reasonable prices and pertfectly cooked and presented I'll be back.

This is a great traditional cafe which I wish I could get to more often. Its special in many ways but especially as its been a bikers meeting place for a good while now with everyone made very welcome. They rely on all their customers but especially the bikers.Parking: Unfortunately Northern Rail who operate the carpark have decided that motorcycles are no longer welcome, this is nothing to do with the cafe. NR have stated that the MC ban is due to the need to make the carpark more readily available to railway users and to ensure that all carpark user pay to use. This is very discriminatory towards the biker community and needs to be challenged by everyone who appreciates the cafe and supports its well being. They forget bikers are train users too.Large numbers of bikers enjoy visiting Whitby and bring a lot of business and money into the town. As such North Yorkshire Council & Whitby Town Council need to get involved to try and resolve the matter. Its unlikely that NR will backdown and allow bikes back into their carpark. A simple solution would be for the adjacent council carpark to include better facilities for bikers and allow free parking when regular biker events are on. If this can be done then this negative story could be turned into a positive one.

Unfortunately I travelled here for breakfast on my motorbike to find out I couldn't park there for some reason. Took my business else where and will not return based on this ever again. Plenty more cafes that will accommodate.
I often go to this cafe. So when I was out on my motorcycle I thought it would be a nice stop for breakfast. But couldn't park my motorcycle as a sign said I would be fined £50 if I did . Won't be going back there any time soon. Shame on you . Found another cafe locally with motorcycle parking.

Great little cafe! Good choice of warming meals, snacks and drinks. Staff really nice and friendly. Good sized portions and really well priced. We went twice in 4 days for lunch!
