Great little pub ..music was played on the Friday Saturday I called in ..not live but through speakers .. people were singing and dancing.slightly older clientele..but very friendly
We love this proper pub. Nearly everytime we're in York we pop in for a couple but to be honest it's been a while since we've been to York. We were very pleased to see that although the toilets had been spruced up and the rest of the pub freshener up it remains a proper pub with what has got to be the best pint of John Smith's I've had this year.

Nice traditional pub located in the historic city of York. There is a very good selection of good cask beers here and all at a very reasonable price. It was busy when we where there but the service was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. Worth a visit when visiting the city.
