I am surprised that the previous reviews were such a long time ago, as this delightful, welcoming cafe deserves a lot of praise. We stopped here for lunch today, as a halfway point of a canal walk. My partner had a delicious jacket potato with all the trimmings, I chose a homemade chicken soup, both very tasty, but there was even better to come ...... a truly scrumptious apricot and brandy cake. As usual a friendly welcoming community as a whole not just the community run cafe that helps so many people in different ways. The cakes and lunch are all great - thank you to all the volunteers.
