We needed to book a table for 5 at the last minute, staff couldn't have been more helpful and squeezed us in. Service at the bar was spot on (thanks Rachel) and the food soon arrived at our table with a smile from both bar staff. The only negative was the state of the furniture, literally, my arse stuck to the chair when I got up, LOL.

I used to live in brackley and it was quiet back then. Now it's a ghost town but at least the plough is still alive and kicking. A good little night in a desolate town.

Sunday lunch with family. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was great. The roast was ok but we needed sharper knives to cut the meat. It was hard work with blunt knives which was a shame.

Best pub in town. Great for watching the footy, drinking beer, chatting to folks. The outside area is really cool too. We hit this place for a solid all dayer. It didn't disappoint. Will be

A great pub in Brackley town centre with a huge covered ‘beer garden’ showing sports etc.I didn’t have food here, so can’t comment on it.They have a good beer/cider selection and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Not been here before, chose it following an internet search based on geography and somewhere dog friendly. Lots of choice of food and reasonable prices. The staff were friendly, even bringing out a few dog biscuits for Bella (the dog). Would definitely return.

In the area for a wedding and couldn’t get a table at the pub we were staying near so chose the Plough. As it was A level night it was a long wait at the bar to tell them we had a dinner reservation. My wife ordered a curry and myself fish and chips. A staff member came to our table and said there was no curry left so my wife then chose gammon. Then another member came and said they still had one portion of curry left. The food arrived, and my fault I should have complained earlier, the fish had a thick batter on it. Served on a rectangular plate that every time you cut into the fish it flew off the plate. Anyway what minuscule fish was inside the batter was ok but the batter was not. Then I visited the bar to pay and told the gentleman the fish wasn’t nice and got an apology. I returned to our table and glanced at what we had paid and thought this isn’t right and lo and behold we had someone else’s drink on our bill. Visited the bar again where an older staff member did a refund. I brought up the subject of the fish again and was told I should have complained earlier. None of the staff were rude but I had a feeling they weren’t that interested. Won’t be in this area again most likely and certainly wouldn’t visit this place again,
A very old pub. Nice outdoor area which is undercover. Had lunch. Good menu choices including snacks and full meals. Do not know about car parking as walked there. Will go again

We decided to visit the Plough for the first time since moving to Brackley two years ago, we wish we had done it sooner. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, great staff and the food was amazing, we had a Sunday roast which was cooked to perfection....

Overall enjoyed my experience here, food was nice, however portion sizes were a little small for my liking.

Always a pleasure visiting the plough, yesterday was our first Sunday lunch though & it was delicious! Really good portion sizes. Great atmosphere as always. If I didn't usually work Sundays we'd be back regularly for it.
