We popped in here before going onto a funeral. The food is delicious, 2 of us jacket potatoes, I’ve never seen such a big potato, 1 had a full English & another had a mushroom, cheese & garlic toastie, all the food was hot & well presented on the plates. The staff were all friendly, if we’re in the the area again we will definitely return.
The fire station cafe is one of the best places I’ve been too! Every time I go i have such a warming welcome and food and drinks are always amazing !! I couldn’t highly recommend the cafe enough. Once you have been you will start going regularly I can promise you that :))Dietary restrictions: I can’t have dairy and they always have something I can eat drink weather it’s cake or food ! There is always something:)

What a simply delicious lunch. Soup of the day was Stilton and Broccoli which we had with toasties of 3 cheese, ham hock and pickle / garlic and thyme mushrooms with 3 cheese. All was perfectly prepared and oozing with flavour. Really looking forward to my next visit. The also have a mouthwatering vegan menu so I can bring my son for lunch without us having to check with the chef for suitable options. How refreshingly thoughtful.
