We arrived without a booking at Sunday lunchtime, hopeful of a table. Sunday lunch was very good, choice of chicken, beef, pork or veggie options. Great to have properly cooked vegetables and not those shown a bit of steam. We sat in the bar area, however there is a dining room to the rear. We were served by Seterah (I hope I've remembered that), very polite and courteous. There is a car park to the rear. Accessibility is flat.

Fantastic that it was busy, really pleased to see the village pub doing so well, but it was really noisy.Having said that, prefer this to no atmosphere. Really lovely all

We had a great meal and everyone was well satisfied, even with one vegetarian and one with allergies in our group! The staff were very understanding of the allergy requirements and assured us that most of the food is made on site and no nuts are used in the kitchen. They were happy to talk through our exact requirements and really made us feel that they were very on top of things, which really helped us relax and enjoy ourselves. It's so nice to have somewhere we can go within walking distance that serves such delicious food ?Vegetarian options: The veg option looked delicious and our vegetarian was well pleased with their meal!Dietary restrictions: The staff were very understanding of the allergy requirements and assured us that most of the food is made on site and no nuts are used in the kitchen. They were happy to talk through our exact requirements and really made us feel that they were very on top of things, which really helped us relax and enjoy ourselves.

We visited on a Thursday evening for the Steak Night. Choice of sirloin or rump, both were excellent and tasted breed than some Ribeye I’d bought from Morrisons. Home made Diane sauce too. Cooked to perfection and served with skin on fries. If you like Steak you’ll live the Hatton Arms.

First time visiting and we were so impressed. The food is all freshly cooked to service, incredibly flavoursome and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will certainly visit again!

Lovely family time at the this lovely welcoming pub…..we all had the Friday special..fish and chips and peas..cooked to perfection…delicious puddings too…Would highly recommend this gem of a pub.
Traditional pub with friendly staff. We called in on a Friday lunchtime when it’s two fish and chips for £14 ….yes FOURTEEN pounds! Not huge portions of course but more than adequate for most people. Well cooked and presented so very pleased. Nice selection of beers available too. Well worth seeking out on a Friday lunchtime!

We visited this establishment yesterday for their first Thursday in the month Curry night. We were recommended by my cousin who's been there for Sunday roast a couple of times and commented on how outstanding the food was. I have to say it did not disappoint. The pub is a very old traditional pub with part of it still retaining its original flagstone flooring. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food extremely good. The Indian comprised starters with poppadoms and the selection of chutneys, which appear to be home-made and were far better than I have ever had in any Indian restaurant. There were two choices of main, a chicken balti or a beef dopiaza. I opted for the beef which was full of flavour, with plenty of large tender chunks of beef both options were served with a generous helping of Basmati rice and a small naan bread. We will most definitely return and I hope it will be sooner rather than later.
