“Found this pub as we got stuck in Braunston on the canal. Wow so glad we did came for a Sunday dinner had the roast it was so good and the service was excellent. Stopped again especially on the way back had burgers this time again the food was amazing (highly recommend the Boss Hog Burger). Everything including the service was really good. Even better still dog friendly”

“Excellent food.. possibly the best fish and chips I’ve had actually! Portions are a good size and excellent quality. I got takeaway but there is an inside diner I believe. Could do with outside seating as it’s not aloud on the benches outside as they’re part of the pub next door. Will definitely use this place again”

“We popped in here today around 4 and before food was formally available but the chef was brilliant and happily cooked early for us. We had his home made pies- a steak and ale one and a three cheese and onion one. Wow! So delicious and everything was actually made by him (so many places claim home cooked food that clearly is bought in). Proper chips like your mum used to make and gravy to die for.
