Perfect village pub. Good, well kept beer.Me and my partner had a wonderful Sunday roast. We both really enjoyed our cold wet afternoon hiding in the countryman.Vegetarian options: My partner is vegetarian and said it was one of the best veggie options roasts she had had.
Spent our New Year Eve here with four friends.Great meal excellent service.and a reasonable cost for a NY night....Only small negative was the singer whose song selection needed to be more lively for a New Year event....otherwise recommend this place.

Went to celebrate my birthday on Sunday very disappointed by landlady's attitude of not accepting that my granddaughter was 21 years of age. Her parents, uncle and Aunt were all there, first time I have been ghosted by a landlady after spending the amount we did. Also surprised you have to pay extra for roasted parsnips food was acceptable. My day was spoilt quite unnecessarily
