We had a fabulous Sunday lunch there yesterday. The food was lovely and vegetarians were well catered for. The service was very good and the prices are very reasonable. Becky was so helpful and friendly, coming out of the pub to show us the way to the open garden.
Just wow!!!! My self and a friend meet yearly half way between where we live to walk all of our crazy dogs together. We weren't sure where to eat so found this place on Google and we were so glad we did. Firstly the owners are absolutely lovely, so welcoming and really friendly, the fire was roaring, the food was amazing, an absolute little gem of a place. A pub and the choice of a chippy tea or pub food! The owner even popped her head out of the door to say bye as we were leaving....read full review

Best chippy for miles around, we pass another on the way to this one as it's worth the extra 2 miles. Good range, freshly cooked, and you can pre-order so it's ready when you get there.It's also good to sit and eat it with a pint occasionally, beer well kept and friendly local pub.
