Perfect village pub. Good, well kept beer.Me and my partner had a wonderful Sunday roast. We both really enjoyed our cold wet afternoon hiding in the countryman.Vegetarian options: My partner is vegetarian and said it was one of the best veggie options roasts she had had.

Spent our New Year Eve here with four friends.Great meal excellent service.and a reasonable cost for a NY night....Only small negative was the singer whose song selection needed to be more lively for a New Year event....otherwise recommend this place.

We had a fantastic Sunday evening dinner with family. 12 of us and the service and food was brilliant. The roasts were really well cooked and presented although sadly they had already sold out of two of the meat choices. It was well worth the visit!

I had the most amazing Barbary duck dish for lunch with an incredible orange, redcurrant and port jus. Fantastic. I am going back this week for the same again?

Went to celebrate my birthday on Sunday very disappointed by landlady's attitude of not accepting that my granddaughter was 21 years of age. Her parents, uncle and Aunt were all there, first time I have been ghosted by a landlady after spending the amount we did. Also surprised you have to pay extra for roasted parsnips food was acceptable.

Just been to this lovely pub for the first time, for my Birthday lunch. We were a party of seven & all our meals were worthy of the highest praise ( compliments to the chef)!) for flavour, quality, portion size & service. Friendly staff, spotless toilets, lovely ambience & the refreshing menu left us spoilt for choice. They were busy (as I understand they always are - not surprised) but all was calm & in control. Highly recommended! *****
