Food was great. Even though they were just about to close the staff were super friendly. So hygienic and spotlessly clean. Good value for money.

It's such a shame, the food here is great but their serving system of making everyone wait even when ordering something they clearly have available is pitiful!Come on guys sort it out!

Worst meal ever. First time trying since it has been taken over and definitely the last. Chips were dry,. Sausage was white, no meat content and inedible. Fish was dry, chewy and also inedible and the kebab had no flavour and very poor quality. Added to the fact that there was a long wait I would not return and would NOT recommend.

It's probably one of the worst chip shops I've ever eaten from. 3 people in front of me, and i waited 40 minutes for fish, chips battered sausage, and a Donna kebab. Fish was chewy and dry. The batter on the sausage was also dry and none crispy. Donna meat was like the frozen stuff you get out of Iceland. Never again.

Savaloy stone cold and full of actual water, was sat in water bath under the lights. Fish very thin batter and chewy....and cold. Battered sausage, batter is almost non exsitant, the only thing at correct temperature. Pie...Stone cold. I'm sure food has to be kept at 63 degrees or above. Never again

First time into the newly taken over Bens Chippy. A bit of a wait for 2 large fish and a medium chips, however the wait was absolutely worth it. The fish were perfectly cooked and the batter thin crisp and tasty. Chips were good and hot. It is clear they are still getting used to the business but if they can keep the quality where it is should do well. Just need to keep the cleanliness of the public area up to scratch

Just went to Bens chippie after being taken over for the second time. The food was awful. Nearly all the accompaniments that came with the chips were cold! And sadly the chips were below their previous standards. It’s sad to see that this once fantastic chippie is now bad. I won’t be spending my money there again.
