First time into the newly taken over Bens Chippy. A bit of a wait for 2 large fish and a medium chips, however the wait was absolutely worth it. The fish were perfectly cooked and the batter thin crisp and tasty. Chips were good and hot. It is clear they are still getting used to the business but if they can keep the quality where it is should do well. Just need to keep the cleanliness of the public area up to scratch
The chips were fantastic, but the fish batter wasn't very good. It wasn't very crispy, but it was more like what you would buy from a supermarket, and I had to peel it off and throw it away
