I think this place is great?. I loved the set up . Wood’s bikes and dogs! What’s better ?I’m shocked how little it takes for some people to give a local business one star review ? . Try a 3star or a four it might be more helpful to staff instead of making yourself look petty. If you want five star service for a 5 pound spend ,your in the wrong part of the world….even better, just stay at home and let us enjoy it

Ordered 2 de caff ,coffeesThey were undrinkable , no smell or taste of coffee.Looked and tasted like dishwater, staff replaced them in case of machine malfunction, no improvement. Left them ,as undrinkable.They weren't cheap and spoiled our visit, previously no such problems.As a company you need to solve quickly before your reputation is down to dishwater level.

For many years this Café has gone the extra mile with Service, making Sandwiches with a decent Coffee. Since the Post-Covid Refurbishment, Standards have distinctly fallen. The current New Management make excuses for the lack of Basic Menu items, and Staff are rude and conceited. Some may attribute this amongst other factors to a Business emphasis towards Cycle Hire instead of Catering and unwelcomingly high Car Parking Charges. Recent Economic considerations aside, there are better places to get a Coffee and a Sandwich after a Walk in the Woods these days.

I have been here the first time and made the "mistake" of queu up in front of counter. Instead of get helped by staff member saying to queu elsewhere after making eyecontact several times sje just ignored me. When i politely asked that i just want to pay for this 2 item and been queueing for 5min just been blanked and told to join the line. Did feel like leaving my money for such a rude service. Walked away.

The prices for soft drinks are eye-watering but I’m still going to leave a 5* review because the black americano I bought was honestly the best coffee I’ve had for a long time. 95%+ you buy a black coffee to take out it’s been scalded, giving it an overly bitter taste which overpowers the other flavours - almost everywhere does this, it’s just the flavour you come to expect. I really cannot fault the coffee I had from here though, it was perfect. Very smooth and almost sweet.
I'm really surprised at the lowish rating. We were there with young children today and the food, drink , service and setting were excellent.The young lady who served us couldn't do enough for us.It was good value too.

Cafe at Fineshade Woods Visitor Centre with some seating inside and loads outside, with near the play area or in the courtyard.Staff are nice and the coffee is good, plenty of choice on sandwiches, toasties and paninis. Ice cream also available. Children's lunch bags available too!All well done! Looks like there's been a bit of smartening up post the pandemic restrictions. Nice facility!

We love this place and have visited regularly for years. The woods are busier than they used to be and a lot more bikes on the shared paths that can sometimes be " interesting" when they fly round blind bends at you. Not so safe for walkers or the dogs off their leads. Still you can get off piste and escape the busy areas when needed. The cafe is always a welcome at the end of your walk. Friendly, dog friendly, Clean and lovely food and coffee.

Great cafe. Excellent service, lovely staff. Set in a perfect location. Outdoor seating in an enclosed courtyard, set in fabulous woods with lots of lovely walks and an enclosed play area. We went as a large party and the staff kindly gave us use of their fabulous barn.
