Had booked in for Easter Sunday lunch and to stop over in our Motorhome, what a stunning place, it was packed when we arrived but Meg definitely had everything organised and we were soon shown to our table. From the moment we stepped into the Exeter Arms, we were enveloped in its charming and cosy atmosphere. At last some decent owners! The current owners are really making an effort. Complimentary fries and pigs in blankets arrived at our table on a Friday evening which was a welcoming nice touch. Menu is small but that is a good thing as what they do they do well. Pies are proper pies not casserole in a pot with a pastry lid. The prawn starter was very generous. All in all the food seems to be really good, well cooked and fairly priced. These guys are doing really well.
