We had a really lovely Sunday roast today. The owner could not be more accommodating and even helped out with a problem we had earlier on in the morning. Our waitress was so lovely. Pleasant and polite and made our dining experience really lovely. I would recommend the pub and the food to anyone.

What a beautiful hidden Gem!!!We all say that you cant beat a home cooked roast dinner, this is true until you sample a Knightley Arms Roast (which is all locally resourced food). I felt completely spoilt yesterday when my family treated me to a Mothers Day roast here. The food was amazing, the drinks available are in abundance and Jac, her team and all the other guest in the pub yesterday made me and my family feel so welcome. Plus we got a special welcome from Basil Fawlty the pubs friendly companion (St Bernard). So if your looking for your next village pub outing (there is some awesome walks around Yelvertoft and the Knightley is dog friendly so you can coincide the 2 ) or looking to celebrate with family and friends for a special occasion, book yourselves in. We can not recommend this place enough and will be returning very soon.Thank you to the Knightley Arms team!

Stopped by after a long walk from our village, upon entrance greeted with Sky TV and a pool table in the middle of the room, village elders looked at us like UFOs !! Young lad behind the bar was very good.

Avoid avoid avoid. We were a group of five ladies who wanted coffee tea or beer after our walk. The landlady told me the coffee machine was broken. I asked for tea and she said she would send a ticket to the kitchen but as the restaurant was full it would take ages. The landlady told one of our party that she couldn't serve us coffee or tea as she was too busy! In fact the coffee machine wasn't even broken. Our party left the awful unfriendly pub and will never return. We are a local club of 160 members and I am sure this rude and unwelcoming attitude will be spread to others.

Last minute decision for Sunday lunch. Lovely cosy atmosphere and very pleasant welcoming staff. Lunch was delicious with extra gravy served separately. Could have been a little more generous with the vegetables but all perfectly cooked. Service a little slow on the pudding side but waitress was so lovely not a problem at all. Will definitely visit again in the near future!

After a long and challenging day 7 of us ended up at the Knightly Arms one evening. We received an outstandingly warm welcome and spent some hours there recharging our flagging spirits. Most grateful to all the staff we interacted with who were all superb. If you are ever in doubt that true hospitality is dead....please visit this venue....your faith will undoubtedly be restored. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you Knightly Arms.

Great local village pub. My only gripe was that the stools were uncomfortable after sitting through a televised football match.

Above & beyond service. 7 of us on a narrowboat whose power blew, arrived on Wed evening when kitchen not open. However, the incredibly friendly & helpful bar staff & landlady agreed to allow us to order ready meals from the quite fabulous Squ!sito deli across the road & heated them up for us, providing a serving area. Could not be more thrilled & delighted, thinking we were out of dinner options. What an utterly brilliant village pub

We were visiting friends nearby who recommended this pub to us for Sunday lunch. It was a delicious meal and all staff were lovely. The meat was great quality, gorgeous Yorkshires and the veg was not overcooked as is often the case. Everyone working there made us feel very welcome- we will definitely return as this is one of the best Sunday lunches we have had in some time. Thank you for a lovely meal and great service.

My husband and I are on a canal boat holiday and today he slipped and hurt his back quite badly on the side of the boat. He has been in agony all day. I walked into Yelvertoft hoping to find a shop where I could buy Ibuprofen and whisky but the village shop has closed down and the little butchers-come-general store was closed. I went into the Knightley Arms and explained my plight. There were 3 locals enjoying a drink and a lady working behind the bar. I was overwhelmed by their kindness! One of the locals (a driving instructor) went out to his car and gave me some Ibuprofen he always has readily available and the bar lady emptied a bottle of water, which was a sellable item, and put some whisky into it for me to take back to the boat. Everyone was very concerned for my husband and again, I can’t say how lovely it was to receive such kindness. My husband is now enjoying the whisky, which will hopefully help to work as an anaesthetic overnight! Thank you to the kind people of Yelvertoft. We will never forget you and hope that one day we can come and enjoy a meal in your lovely pub. With much thanks

Didn’t start well as our reserved table was occupied . Restricted menu had cottage pie, liver and onions and beef lasagna however hopes were dashed when we were told that the cottage pie, liver and onions and beef lasagna were off leaving vegetable curry or a three bean chilli. Undaunted we ordered sandwiches and chips (after making sure that the chips were available) which we agreed were acceptable and a pint of Phipps bitter which was on form however the second pint was served down the back of my chair by a clumsy barman. Needless to say we will not be returning.
