The best tasting Indian food we’ve had! What a find. Fresh, well cooked, great flavours. Even the popadom mix was another level. Will definitely go back.

We had hired a narrowboat and were looking at Google Maps, to find somewhere to eat. We gave Spice of Bruerne a try and were not disappointed. We all agreed it was one of the best meals we had every had. As an additional bonus it was a sensible price as well.

Oh my word ! I tried their new dish, the Zaytoun ( not sure of spelling ) I had it as a slightly hotter madras and it was delicious . I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and polite too.

Odd one … ordered 2 of the same dish but came different, one was thick sauce other was this & one much spice hotter than the other but an ok meal all the same

I'm not generally a curry lover however I got chatting to a smashing couple having a drink outside The Boat Inn - and they persuaded me to join them for a meal in Spice of Bruerne. I was really pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of choice on a good menu, I thought prices were reasonable and the food I had was really very good. I shall come here again next year when visiting Stoke Bruerne.

Despite arriving on a very busy evening with some large groups we were made to feel very welcome and well served. The flavour and portion sizes were well above average with a contrast on flavours and plenty of meat in both dishes. A lovely meal in a warm friendly venue.
