We came for lunch and it was great!!! Long long time since we had been here despite us living local.We both had the roast chicken which was excellent, big portion and well cooked. Puds were delicious. It was good value too. We shall definitely be back.Food & drinks: Food was excellent, hot and tasty.

My boyfriend treated me to a valentines meal at the Hopping Hare. He couldn't have chosen a better place. Lovely decor and ambience , attentive friendly staff and delicious food. It was all really good but the desert a sharer of chocolate delicice, white chocolate and strawberry mouse and a fruit tart) was the best of all. It's the best desert I have ever had. Had a few really nice stays at The Hopping Hare while travelling for work, it's an absolute local gem. The rooms have always been well maintained and clean, the food is fantastic and the people working here are a super friendly and helpful bunch, you always feel welcome and taken care of. Thanks once more, hopefully I get to visit the area again soon 5*
