First Sunday lunch from the new owners. Excellent food, staff and service. Fresh vegetables, nicely cooked and far too much for us to eat. At the point of having had an excellent lunch but then presented with the desert list, all of which are handmade!!! There are also local handmade cheeses on the cheese board. Based on a local village pub, excellent.

The King's head is under new management and is much improved on the old website photos. It's very warm and welcoming as are the new owners. I felt very comfortable there and service was spot on. Would recommend a visit.

Waited at the bar that was blocked by locals who eventually moved so we got served...no customer service skills whatsoever by the people behind the bar....never even said hallo or goodbye...or even sorry for the wait.....how its still in business I do not know

Would have stayed longer but had to sit with my hat and coat on as there No heating on.
Ok I'm sorry to say it wasn't a great experience ! Most things on the menu were not available , The staff were clueless, waited an age to have the order taken , as long to get a beer at the bar oh and the bloody music speaker above our heads boom boom we were about to leave when the food turned up which was ok and thank Christ they turned the bloody music off ! Having said that it was a good local pub for a drink if that's all you wanted ! Sorry old kings head .
Just went for a drink. The restaurant was really busy though so might try on next visit .Friendly staff and atmosphere. Dog friendly too.Parking: Good size car parkOn road parking available too
