Amazing Sunday Roast .The Beef was so good melted in the mouth. The Veg were cooked Beautifully and the portion size was very good for people with larger appetites. Couldn't find anything to fault will definitely be returning .

Tuesday night is cheese night.For £3.00 a plate you get a choice of about 7 cheeses along with biscuits and pickles.Extras such as sausage rolls and scotch eggs are also available.Homely welcome with roaring fires, good beers and fantastic food.whats not to love.

10/10 Sunday Lunch! Had family down from Yorkshire and they all agreed it was a fab meal. Great staff and lovely atmosphere! I feel lucky and privileged to have a great pub in the village.

Visited The Sheaf for Sunday lunch with friends. Wow what a fabulous meal we all had. We all said it was the best Sunday lunch we've had for years. The meat melted in your mouth, vegetables in abundance and beautifully cooked and the Yorkie puds were to die for. Starters and puds are all delicious too. Perfectly priced, a great atmosphere and terrific staff. Thank you all, we are really looking forward to seeing you again soon.

My mum hired out The Sheaf for her wedding - the tapas as absolutely amazing! I don’t know how they were able to serve 50+ people tapas at once but it was fab. We had (i think) 7/8 different dishes and then 2 puddings! Luke was very accommodating and just wanted to say thanks for making my parents wedding celebrations so lovely.

We had lunch today with our daughter . I have to say my Sunday roast was delicious . Pork very tender and the cauliflower cheese actually tasted of cheese ! Vegetables and potatoes perfect.Husbands meal of sausage and mash very tasty including a special request of a Yorkshire pudding ! Daughter is vegetarian, her meal of mushroom tart, cooked Camembert with crispy bread and chunky chips looked mouth watering. We were made to feel very welcome .We will be back again….
