Stopped here on our way home from Weedon Bec. Looking lovely on the outside it was just as welcoming on the inside. We had drinks and liked the service and atmosphere so much we decided to stay and eat here. Being a Friday evening the place soon got very busy, but service was not lacking at all. We hadn’t been here for a couple of years and we weren’t disappointed. There is a limited choice of the set menu but enough variety to make informed choices. The staff were very considerate and helpful, the service was excellent. The food was very good overall and everyone enjoyed their main courses. We came to the area for a family wedding & stayed at the Red Lion in East Hatton. Pretty village & the hotel was very welcoming, with a comfortable room. We had a great meal in the restaurant. Food was lovely & service was first class - our staff member Amelia F was so helpful & professional. Would definitely recommend this place to eat & stay.
