We would certainly visit again-this place is lovely. Its easy to find, just look for the disused water tower nearby, and its on the main street through the village of Roade. There is ample parking. We had our dog with us and she was made very welcome. We had a ground floor room which was spacious, decent sized bed, good quality linen and furnishings. Its all recently been refurbished. The owners are so welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them. Breakfast is freshly cooked and lots of different plates to choose. They are licensed too and wine is good quality. The home-made cakes are a must. We are too lazy for the yoga but lots of people were enjoying their classes. This village must count itself lucky to have such wonderful facilities in their midst. Do not hesitate to book.

Up until now I’d only had various sandwiches or baguettes which have always been fresh and some great original fillings from the menu until today I had the Nacho’s …..well , never been a fan of Nacho dishes iv had from other restaurants and genuinely say I’ve never had Nacho’s as good as The Roade house Nacho’s , definitely a must try from the menu , as always the Roade house standard and quality goes into everything and every detail , well done ??Forget Taco Bell & Nando’s Nacho’s!

Paul is super friendly, rooms are lovely. We have an EV and our dog Milo with us - none of which was a problem - able to charge and take Milo for a moderate fee. Rooms and restaurant is smart and trendy too. As we were a bit tired so we ate over the road at the local pub. Before hand Paul suggested a walk for Milo - 50 yards away around some wheat field - really handy. He has a lunch and dinner menu - fully licensed. We weren’t here that long to sample but perhaps next time. They also have a beauty salon and yoga classes. All this set in a lovely village setting We will 100% book again Shaun, Debbie, Grace and Milo

I love this place! First came here for a baby massage class and stayed for tea and cake. They have the most INCREDIBLE cakes! Most coffee shops do tray bakes and brownies now, but they have full-sized cakes and cut a very generous slice. Excellent ratio of icing to sponge!

Went for breakfast this morning, super friendly staff. I had the mini breakfast with coffee and orange juice. Everything was hot and full of flavour. I can't stand cold beans and these were perfect.

Great yoga centre, cafe and restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing day spent at The Roade house Yoga studio on the one day retreat. A selection of yoga activities provided from stretching to mindfulness meditation. Suitable for beginner and experienced practitioners. Pampering provided with hand and foot massage. Delicious snacks and attentive service. Highly recommended for a great day out. Thanks to [email protected] and all the team.

Stayed here many times in the past as visiting relatives in the village The rooms are of good size with smart bathrooms Lovely furnishings and recently redecorate The only downside is that there is no breakfast included although you can get one in their on site cafe Just think maybe a bit pricey with no breakfast Paul the owner was very nice and looked after us

I hired out The Roade house cafe and lounge bar yesterday for my Husbands 40th Birthday, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue and service. All of the staff are fantastic! They are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The whole process from booking to the party on the day was smooth and stress free. They even helped me with the set up. All of our guests had a great time and so many people commented on what a lovely venue it is.I regularly use The Roade House for breakfast and lunch and the service is always 5 star. I also use studio 16 for my nails and again, always a 5 star service.Honestly well worth a visit if you’ve not yet been. The home made cakes are incredible!
We booked at The Roadehouse for 2 nights. I have been checking that where wcer I booked had a bath. Very important.We arrived at the Roade house and it was lovely. We had to pay £20 per night for our dog which was more than anywhere else.We were shown to our room, which had been recently renovated. The room was lovely. Large bed, sofa large tv. The bath was a lovely size. I unpacked all of our bits and put the bath on. No water. We left it running for 15 mins to see if we would get water. No luck. I rang and let the owner know. He said he didn’t know why , but could move us to another room.The second room was still lovely but a lot smaller , smaller bed , no sofa. It did have a bath but it was more like a bidet.The water was so slow at running , it took 15 mins to half fill the bath. And again the shower didn’t work.We were so disappointed as we don’t have a bath at home and had spent £200 on the room.The owner didn’t really understand our feelings and how let down we were.We feel that he should have offered us some money back , even the cost we paid for our dog.I hope that this doesn’t happen to anyone else as the place was lovely just didn’t fulfill our expectations.Rooms: Lovely refurbishment , comfy beds, bath and water issues.Noteworthy details: No water . Shower didn’t work I. 2 rooms

Just completed a 10 week course with Maxine in yoga for beginners. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend. Maxine is a fantastic instructor, so kind, welcoming and took the time to listen if like me you have a few back and knee issues! Maxine would give alternative options for poses or movements without judgement or pressure ❤️Absolutely fantastic. Thank you x

We had a post wedding family and friends brunch at Roade House the day after our wedding, it was perfect and all of the food was delicious and the service amazing even though it was a big group of 33! Thank you so much for rounding off our wedding weekend so amazingly!
