Had the special today. Scallops with Black Pudding crushed potatoes, samphire and lovely sauce. Absolutely delicious would highly recommend. Always have great food when in Lamberts and staff really lovely.

The ambiance is really nice, wine is good, service is friendly. I was disappointed with my chicken sandwich which seemed rather empty. Both halves only had a few small slices of chicken on the visible end, empty entirely in the back, sort of like a pre-made shop sandwich. However the fruit scone was delicious.

Lovely little spot which really suits the town - interesting range of breakfast options and a welcoming atmosphere. Probably worth booking in advance as Saturday morning we had to wait for a table!

We, 3 ladies on a mid week break, had a lovely lunch at Lamberts. It’s a comfortable restaurant with fresh home cooked food. Two of us chose the vegetarian graze box which had a great selection and we had an extra of truffle Parmesan fries which were delicious. The other friend had the beef burger which she sad was tasty and definitely home made. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if we visit Stamford again.

This is a lovely restaurant/cafe. Really comfortable surroundings and good food. We’ve been there a number of times now but find it’s sadly tainted by the rather unfriendly, bordering on rude, manager/waitress. I’m not sure what her role is. She needs some advice or training on how to be pleasant to customers. As we continue to return we obviously put the food before the service. The other waiting staff are professional and exactly what you’d expect… without her it would be a perfect place to eat.
