This is a lovely restaurant/cafe. Really comfortable surroundings and good food. We’ve been there a number of times now but find it’s sadly tainted by the rather unfriendly, bordering on rude, manager/waitress. I’m not sure what her role is. She needs some advice or training on how to be pleasant to customers. As we continue to return we obviously put the food before the service. Delicious food and great service. We hadn't booked and it was full but we only waited 10 mins for a table. All the staff were helpful and cheery. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries! Can't wait to return.

We, 3 ladies on a mid week break, had a lovely lunch at Lamberts. It’s a comfortable restaurant with fresh home cooked food. Two of us chose the vegetarian graze box which had a great selection and we had an extra of truffle Parmesan fries which were delicious. The other friend had the beef burger which she sad was tasty and definitely home made. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if we visit Stamford again.
