Our first visit, a family member recommended your cafe for our breakfast and we really enjoyed it. We had the lovely poached egg, salmon and guacamole on toast and it was lovely. I'd definitely recommend.
This cafe is among many in Stamford, however I find myself going back to this particular place more often than others, the coffee is fairly adequately priced, with a "loyalty" stamp card system which is always a nice bonus. The stores interior is it's biggest downfall personally, not that this is fault of the owners or staff, its a small place with not much room to stand around and wait for your drink when taking out. Whenever I am in Stamford, Cafe Black is a magnet for me. Whether you just want a warm drink or are hungry and ready for a culinary surprise, it is the place to go. The meals are well presented, nutritious and more than enough to satisfy the average appetite.
