Looking for somewhere for a meal after a funeral today, seven of us arrived mid-afternoon, not having booked. Obviously this was a quiet time, so I cannot really comment on atmosphere.The choice of food on the menu was vast, from many regions. All of our meals were well-cooked and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more.Highly recommended.

My son and family moved to the area a while ago so we decided to try this for a Sunday lunch as they could walk and it’s does a roast dinner. The menu looked very good and catered for children too, we have a 3 year old grandson. 3 of us had starters, we all had a 3 meat mixed toast, my grandson had chicken nuggets and we all had a desert. I have to say it was all delicious. 3 of the Yorkshire’s were a tad soft and the beef was a bit dry but it was lovely. The deserts however were off the scale, normally deserts are a bit of a let down but these were amazing. We had bread and butter pudding, a crumble, chocolate brownie and a lemon cheesecake. All absolutely delicious but the lemon cheesecake topped them all and I have to say it was the best cheesecake we’d all had. We complimented them on it as it was amazing. We’ll definitely be returning as the food and staff were brilliant.

Lovely friendly pub/restaurant.The food is authentic and is of a high standard. If you have the prawn curry, enjoy the extra large prawns.Food and drinks are very reasonably priced.The owner and his team really make you and your pets very welcome.They have side rooms for pets and their owners,If you get the chance, have a game of Bedfordshire Skittles or a game of pool, in another of the side rooms.Or just enjoy your meal. If you prefer to sit outside, there is a snug little area or a larger garden with seating.Motorhome and campers can stop overnight, but please ring first to ensure a place.There is some traffic noise, but it's not that bad. Enjoy ?

Today we had a delivery from Peggotty's,Roast dinner & 2 kids meals for my fussy eaters!This is the best food delievery I have ever had!I never thought I'd say this about a takeaway delievery, but I honestly have no complaints! and not a bad word to say! it was absolutely amazing!It was so yummy & worth every penny.. I will deffo be ordering again!thank you very much!

Visited with family for Sunday meal, we all had roasts and we all thought it was a good place to go. Good food, varied and good value for money. Restaurant and other areas inside and will go again. Outside area looked fine when the weather improves. Beer well kept What more could u want. Well worth a visit.

Food was fabulous. We had a three course meal. Served promptly every course following smoothly. My only issue was where we were seated was terribly busy and very cold with people coming and going all evening long. A better table position and I’d have been in my element.
