My son and family moved to the area a while ago so we decided to try this for a Sunday lunch as they could walk and it’s does a roast dinner. The menu looked very good and catered for children too, we have a 3 year old grandson. 3 of us had starters, we all had a 3 meat mixed toast, my grandson had chicken nuggets and we all had a desert. Lovely friendly pub/restaurant.The food is authentic and is of a high standard. If you have the prawn curry, enjoy the extra large prawns.Food and drinks are very reasonably priced.The owner and his team really make you and your pets very welcome.They have side rooms for pets and their owners,If you get the chance, have a game of Bedfordshire Skittles or a game of pool, in another of the side rooms.Or just enjoy your meal. Looking for somewhere for a meal after a funeral today, seven of us arrived mid-afternoon, not having booked. Obviously this was a quiet time, so I cannot really comment on atmosphere.The choice of food on the menu was vast, from many regions. All of our meals were well-cooked and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more.Highly recommended.
