Probably the best village pub in Northamptonshire!Excellent bitter and Guinness, lager pop too.Lovely family that owns it, friendly locals and dogs allowed. Roaring winter fire and shady area for those summer heatwaves.No food as yet, ( quiz nights accepted)

Such a lovely village pub, with an extremely (and surprisingly) friendly atmosphere and a lovely welcome from the landlord and landlady like we were old friends. I don't know what or how they do it, but whatever they do, they do it right.

Perfectly decent village pub, good beers, menu a little pretentious and on the high side.For some strange reason, every village pub we visited that day, did a decent job of being identical to the last / next. All very clean and tidy, painted grey. Very strange.My apologies for the error. Posted on wrong page !
