This is a traditional small town pub, but with a huge range of excellent beers, which the landlord knows how to look after properly. Plenty of other drinks too, more gin options than beer!Food is the usual pub grub with a couple of additional options, but the chef always cooks them perfectly. Driven past this pub thousands of times, and finally decided to pop in as the exterior looks so inviting with its beautiful baskets full of flowers and its traditional pub decor.We were greeted by a team of friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the drinks they serve (there's a huge selection of real ales and traditional ciders)We'll definitely be back for a meal in the near future

Came for a Father's Day Sunday lunch with my daughter, her partner and the Grand-dog...fabulous choice of beers and ciders (great draughts and two fridges full of tinnies)...food was plentiful, hot and tasty...staff were helpful, charming and lovely
