Mauds is an awesome place known for its great breakfast and delicious homemade scones and short-bread. The coffee and ice-creams are also beautiful and reasonably priced. For lunch, the chicken and vegetable soup with a roll is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and the owner is welcoming, always ready to share a recommendation. There is a lovely little outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying the weather, though it’s worth noting that they don’t accept cards and have no toilets.
