Booked a table in Bombay Brasserie (also seems to be known as Sonali) for evening dinner on Saturday 4th August 2018. I contacted the restaurant in advance to find out which dishes, if any, might be vegan and received a quick response from the Chef with some recommendations. Although licenced, Bombay Brasserie also allow BYOB, for a hefty corkage fee of £4.00 per bottle. Never had a bad feed from this lower-key, good quality Indian. There is a wide range of dishes available - including the Lamb / Chicken Makhani and Reyzala which are particularly enjoyable for those who like the sweeter, creamier curries.

I've only been here twice to date but plan to change that. It's small but good. On my first visit, I had the Seabass Shaslick, which was definitely good enough for me to want to go back, which I did. Then I had the King Prawn Ceylon, described on the menu as a coconut-flavoured Balti/madras, though I wasn't really conscious of the coconut when eating it - it's no Korma.
