Such a special place - my wife and I have so many happy memories over the years of dining at The Barking Dog. Leader of the pack and one of the best in Belfast it has been a firm favourite restaurant of ours for a very long time. Restaurant was at the end of our street due to the rain we decided not to traipse into town & by far was the Best meal of our weekend away , the restaurant had a great lively but relaxed , welcoming atmosphere & brilliant service from our server . Our favourite place to go when we visit Belfast and yesterday 16th we visited for my partners birthday. We had been given a voucher for Christmas and it was the first chance we had to use it. We had tapas as a starter between us, I had the salt and pepper scampi as a main and my partner had a burger with chips...for dessert my partner had a brownie and the girls kindly put a candle on it for him and sang happy birthday.
