I was born in Newington but moved to cavehill Road and then Dublin in the 70s, I was about 11yrs old at the time and Rossi's was still a chip shop as well as ice cream, my dad used to get us fish and chips every Saturday night as well as ice cream, I moved to New York and lived there until 2004, I came back to Belfast, I still miss the fish and chips but the ice cream is still wonderful, I now work in a hospital and live on Atlantic avenue, just down the street from the shop,...read full review

Finally found somewhere in Northern Ireland that does proper pistachio ice cream ? woohoo! Delicious and my son gave his extra thick milkshake 10 out of 10!. Will definitely back again to Rossi’s.

I definitely think this is the BEST ice cream in northern ireland.The vanilla is so authentic to Italian ice cream of the 1950'S and 1960's. It makes me so nostalgic for my childhood having days out when we lived in the south of England and going to seaside resorts on the south coast.
