Used to be the best Chinese takeaway in Belfast. It has gone downhill significantly recently. Prices have gone up (inevitable I suppose) but quality has also deteriorated - chicken is getting chewier and I recently had gristle in a duck Spring Roll. Portions are definitely smaller - used to be be that you could get near enough two portions from a single meal but no more. Unfortunately the chicken in my takeaway chicken curry was not satisfactory..some bits tough and some bits like total jelly! Extremely busy every Saturday night and under pressure, so lots of orders sitting for collection etc My salted chilli chips are never crispy enough (every order recently) and are usually extremely soggy by the time I get home, also due to the sweat from the polystyrene container. Staff try their best but I won’t be returning any time soon!

Been a returning customer week after week for years, best Chinese takeaway without doubt, I have traveled northern Ireland extensively with work and the silk is always my benchmark for quality, flavor, ingredients and value. 100% first class
