What on earth is going on with this chain or rather solitary kebab outfit? Prices are totally out of kilt with what you're given, it's a real shame as would love to support what is an iconic kebab shop in Belfast. Portions for what you get are a joke, it has actually crossed a line into being derisory and gives off a vibe that they're targeting drunk trade only these days. Can't see that lasting, again a real shame.
The Sphinx was recommended as the place for the best steak kebabs in Belfast. I was very disappointed. The ratio of bread/salad/meat was wrong. Small thin pitta, shredded lettuce and a mountain of dry, tough beef. Some meat was inedible. The sauce helped a bit but it was just ok, nothing special. I wouldn’t go back and it definitely wasn’t value for money.
