1st I had a large fry the bacon was over cooked and the mushrooms seemed to have a lot of water coming from them , 2nd the service was awful sat for close to 1 hr frm ordering to receiving food wouldn’t rush

Went for lunch over weekend and I am glad we chose this place. Very clean and well maintained. Very well groomed, very courteous, and smiling staff. Food was also very good - we enjoyed our entire experience at Josh Macs. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is good. Plenty of families with young kids. Kids friendly place.Parking: Plenty of free parking around.

This is a great local restaurant in Carrickfergus. We were unsure where to eat while staying in the area and decided to give them a try. We liked it so much we went back the night after with family.It gave me the impression of an American Dinner style place. There was a good range of food and drinks. The starters and the mains were the highlight, but the deserts were also good.The staff were friendly and service was efficient. We would go back again if we were in the area again.Parking: Big carpark outside that serves the cinema and a couple of restaurants.
