This is a great local restaurant in Carrickfergus. We were unsure where to eat while staying in the area and decided to give them a try. We liked it so much we went back the night after with family.It gave me the impression of an American Dinner style place. There was a good range of food and drinks. Called in for a deluxe hot chocolate.Had the same thing last year and it was just as good.Three mini flakes, a biscoff biscuit, extra marshmallows, a side of cream and a massive cup of hot chocolate.It was amazing and great value.Definitely the best one in the country.Loads of parking available and walking distance from the castle for any tourists.Thanks

Went for lunch over weekend and I am glad we chose this place. Very clean and well maintained. Very well groomed, very courteous, and smiling staff. Food was also very good - we enjoyed our entire experience at Josh Macs. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is good. Plenty of families with young kids.
