Attended the Bushtown Hotel and Spa last night for a meal with a few friends we hadn’t been in a while and decided to give it a go due to good reviews. Pretty average.. car park packed at 1.45 ppl parking on grass verge on road. Sunday carvery more like school dinners. 20 minutes wait for main meal and another 20 min wait for dessert… you pay downstairs so you don’t see the 3 queues snaking across the dining room… I did ask if there was a wait and was told No!.. had we been informed we could have choose to return at a later date. Went to evening carvery and we were served food that was left over from lunchtime carvery, potatoes were cold , v poor selection of veg which was also cold, gravy was salty and tasteless. All in all a v poor experience, will never be back and certainly won't recommend it .
