Reviews for Golden Village
Was a bit wary because of the latest reviews. However, my mate Greg who lives in Gilford says it's good. Took a chance and the Beef Curry was probably the best I've had in the last year, certainly since lockdown. Cash only but there's a till almost next door.
Just moved to gilford and had out 1st takeaway from here last night. What can i say apart from "amazing" everything was perfect, best chowmein ive ever had. Safe to say we'll be regulars ??

Average food, not particularly bad but not better than any other Chinese I've tried.Edit: Looking back on this review, I feel I was a bit harsh. I didn't like the salted chilli chicken compared to other places but my family has always enjoyed their meals from here. What's important is that this restaurant has maintained an above average level of food and service over the years.
