this is a good cafe. the staff are very friendly and there is a good selection of food. BUT they play the back ground music TOO LOUD and we cannot hear ourselves talk. Sorry maybe I am a grumpy old man but I say it as I see it.

I would like to share my first experience with Synge &Byrne in rushmere. I visited restaurant on Saturday and was so warm welcomed at the door. Restaurant was very busy but service was very professional and outstanding. Myself and my husband weren't sure what to choose from menu but the girl(dark hair,bob cut style) behind the counter suggested few options and we were delighted coz food was very good. Great sandwich bar with a lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches, toasties and the most delicious cakes and traybakes. Staff are really friendly and helpful and they were constantly clearing and cleaning tables even though they were extremely busy taking orders and preparing meals. This place is a wee gem and with free parking at the centre you couldn't ask for more.
